I relate to this! I need a Singularity muse to do my chores for me . . and one to do my sleeping for me would be nice too. That way I could just write and read 24/7. I'd still like to eat though, eating is nice.

Hahahah, I second that. I'd like to have someone or something such as AI do the heavy lifting for me, both mentally and physically. And, yes, I'd like to keep several things such as eating too… but then again "growth comes at the point of overcoming resistance" so how can we get better?! It seems that one way or another, suffering is the process which turns commons stones into rare gems…

"growth comes at the point of overcoming resistance"

Absolutely. I believe no matter how technologically advanced we get, there will always be a struggle and an initial resistance at the cusp of change, growth, and improvement. Adapting and evolving don't happen magically and instantaneously without some kind of destruction- of either beliefs, habits, mores, frames of reference, or physical systems. From the destruction, one reassembles the salvageable old and integrates the useful new.
