If ever Singularity will be a reality we will have to be dehumanized completely, however I hold the belief of the "First Mover" - someone (human)will have to click the button unless spontaneous life is a fact.

Singularity is unavoidable, as human brain seems almost designed. To be a cyborg.

These days more of people's memory is on a device rather than in their head.

It is only a matter of time before we have direct to brain interfaces and from there to moving the personality from the meatspace.

It is unavoidable due to the first movers advantage, those at the start take all the benefit. Those at the bottom are forced to invest to keep up and get no return.
