This documentary containing contrasting ideas from scientists, strikes me mainly because its apocalyptic atmosphere. I believe alarmism should be replaced by transparency and informed awareness which in my opinion are a prerequisite for efficient and fast progress. I know, extreme emotions sell more, but they have the drawback of exacerbating conflicts… However I suspect that the future of mankind will ultimately be not in the hands of people and governments, but rather of those organizations like defense or multinationals pursuing their statutory missions in the secret of their laboratories.
